My name is Margot and I've been a Thermomix® owner since 2016 and a Thermomix®Independent Consultant since 2021. I was born and raised in Australia, but relocated to St Louis, Missouri in 2008 after marrying my American husband, Tom. I first encountered Thermomix® in Australia in 2014 after my aunt bought one and I couldn’t wait to get one when they launched in the USA. My journey into healthy eating and eliminating fast and processed foods began around 2015 when my mother in Australia was diagnosed with Meniere's disease and had to eliminate salt/sodium from her diet. I've always loved cooking and consider myself a foodie, but it was my mother's diagnosis that ignited my passion for healthy eating. I spent a lot of time reading and educating myself on how to read food labels, understanding ingredients, and the importance of being aware of what we put into our bodies. It's alarming how much sodium, sugar, and additives are in our food. That's truly why I love cooking from scratch and assisting others to do the same, Thermomix® really is cooking made easy. Once Thermomix® was available in the USA, I immediately bought one and have been loving it ever since. I enjoy preparing both simple dishes and gourmet meals. In today's busy world, not everyone has learned to cook or has the time, and that's where I find joy in helping others. It's not about cooking every day, but even a few homemade meals a week instead of takeout can positively impact your health and finances. I believe Thermomix® revolutionizes kitchen experiences, enabling healthier eating and saving time and money, while also replacing numerous kitchen appliances. When I'm not cooking, you'll find me in my vegetable garden. I love being able to incoporate my homegrown veggies into my cooking and teaching my grandies where vegetables come from. If you're curious about the name GMarg’s Kitchen, my grandies (9 of them) call me GMarg which is short for Grandma Margot. I love getting them involved in the garden and kitchen and they all love the Thermomix®.
